Oh, so I went back to the eye doctor for a check-up
and I STILL can’t get my glasses, yet. Why? Well, they had me down that I wanted color contacts, for one. I was never asked if I wanted color or clear contacts. Why would I want color? What the heck? So I’m slightly annoyed at that. Then, she tells me that I don’t have the right contacts. That I need these with astigmatism correction. Here, all this time, I was thinking that the reason I was testing out the contacts without the astigmatism correction because they were waiting for the contacts WITH astigmatism correction to come in. When, in fact, they have a whole supply in their “contacts room”.
SO I have to go AGAIN next week for ANOTHER check-up. Also, I think the contacts they gave me aren’t strong enough. Even though they claim that the best eyesight I’m able to get with these is 20/25 in my right eye and 20/20- in my left, but I can see a lot better with my current glasses.
THEN ON TOP OF THAT I went back to Lenscrafters in the mall and the frames I wanted were gone! They had other similar models from the same designer, but not the exact ones I wanted. UGH! THIS IS WAY MORE DIFFICULT THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. I JUST WANT NEW GLASSES. FFFFUUUUUUU. RAGE.
