I…I just can’t help myself. You can’t just come back into my life so suddenly and not expect old feelings to emerge again…
*edit*
Well, after hanging out with him, I find myself not wanting to be more than just friends with him. I guess I’ve changed a lot since March.
Went to the Dallas World Aquarium with my step mother and Barbara (my friend from Austria).

The guinea pigs, this one is Indy :3

The baby squirrels my step mother is rehabilitating :3

Went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, again with my step mother and Barbara.

My dad’s birthday~

And last, but not least, I got my tattoo!

- Tattoo
- Hanging out with my best friend before he goes to Chicago to live the life of a hipster art school student
- Seeing my friend/girl from Austria we hosted my senior year in high school
- Possibly seeing my older sister and my future brother in law
- Baby squirrels
- and of course, my cats, one of which (Willie) will be returning with me to College Station :)
- Oh, and I get paid on Thursday. Aw yiss~
My excitement is growing :D

It’s a gif involving Pokémon AND Star Trek? It’s like it’s begging me to reblog it :o
I just finished reading the 6th volume, just in time to see the movie (hopefully sometime this weekend). Nice closure to the story with lots of humor thrown in. I still like Knives Chau :3 It’s the first time I’ve used CDisplay, I really like it. Definitely going to start reading more manga, and maybe even American comics, on my computer :O
Okay, it’s 6am, going to bed~
*EDIT*
Okay, so the movie was good. I REALLY liked the beginning and I loved other parts as well, but the ending. Oh man, the ending was not very good. For one, it was almost nothing like how the comic ended (Yes, I know the movie was finished before the last volume came out). Two, it just felt weird/cliche/rushed. I was also really looking forward to the fight scene with Knives Chau in the library, but they left it out :( The casting was freakin’ amazing and perfect though! Michael Cera still didn’t seem right as Scott, but he did better than I expected. Julie Powers, Young Neil, Knives Chau, Scott’s sister, Wallace, Stephen Stills, Kim Pine, EVERYONE was spot on with their roles. My rating is 3.5/5 :o
Do we? :O I kinda see it. I’m doing well :) Just making my nightly rounds on Tumblr~
How are you?
Thanks for the follow, Holy-Moly :)
I like your taste in music.
And your appreciation for adorable animals.
I will return the following, methinks.
:3
So last night I had a dream where Caragh (whydoihaveablog), one of her friends (I’m assuming), and I were all going to an Ingrid Michaelson concert. I don’t even know if she listens to her, I don’t even know anything about Caragh outside of Tumblr, but that’s what we were doing. We had to wait for a bus to come pick us up. The bus, however, picked us up in this dark, muddy field. And had two drivers. One of the drivers sat behind the other driver. I have no idea how that worked. We almost crashed a couple times. Why we got on the bus is a mystery.
I remember getting off the bus and going home at one point. Then I remembered that I was going to a concert and realized the bus had already left. So I missed out on another Ingrid concert. I got really sad. Then I woke up.
You know you’re on Tumblr too much when people you follow and don’t even know in real life start popping up in your dreams. /feels like a creeper
Listening to Mumford & Sons is so calming. Also, I guess that “Song A Day” thing was a bust haha My dedication to things sucks v__v
Mumford & Sons :: Awake My Soul
Corinne Bailey Rae :: Like A Star
This song, so sexy.
There are a few schools that offer graduate programs in my desired field and are in areas I wouldn’t mind living in.
- University of California – Davis
- University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign
- University of Chicago
- University of California – Los Angeles
I listed them in order of relevance to my career of choice. UC Davis is number 2 in the nation for the program; even though it’s in California, it’s still far from everyone I know out there. My dad went to Urbana-Champaign, it’s a good school, but it’s far from all my family in Illinois and it would be far from my best friend who is going to SAIC. Perks of U of Chicago are I have family up there and my best friend’s school will be 15 minutes away. UCLA, although their program is not tailored specifically to Animal Behavior, it is still relevant to my general area of interest PLUS I would be close to everyone I know out in California.
My question is, do I put off moving to California for a few more years after I get my B.S. for the sake of going to a better school or do I go ahead and go to LA, get my PhD in an area not specific to what I want, but still close, gain experience, and be near my friends out there?
