I kind of hate when people will swear to something being the “best ever”. Just because that something is the best you know does not mean it is the best overall. This happens mostly with people and food around me. Someone will swear it’s the best, but in reality it’s really just mediocre. I guess if that’s all you know you don’t have anything better to compare it to, but that’s when it’s best to avoid making such comments about how “amazing” it is. Or be more accurate and say “It’s the best I’ve had.”

I just hate ignorant generalizations. If people would do a little research or realize that the world is bigger than their little circle , then I think people could understand others better. And I’m not just talking about food, but everything. One of the reasons I don’t talk about my parent’s divorce or about my life in general is because my life is not bad. Bringing up my “problems” seems useless considering how much worse my life could be.

I mean, I’m going to college, and one of the best ones in the nation at that. I have a roof over my head and access to food whenever I want. I have access to the internet and a nice bed to sleep on. And I have amazing friends who I can talk to. That’s really all you need.

I try to post a song everyday on my music Tumblr (http://ofrabjousday.tumblr.com) so that the days stay in order (otherwise I wait a week to post again).  I missed Thursday by an hour so I thought “Why not change the time zone so that it’ll be Thursday again, post the song, and then change it back?”

Well, apparently Tumblr is smarter than that :[  After I posted it, I changed the time zone back to CST and it said Friday v__v

Just got back from the Arctic Monkeys concert in Houston!!!!

They were AMAZING to say the least >.<

The Like were okay, but I got to meet them afterward and they were really nice.

BUT ARCTIC MONKEYS

They all looked so ~hawt~ especially Alex and Jamie. :3

I kinda wished they had included a few more of my favorites on the set list, but oh well~

Last night I was kinda in a rush and was super tired so I will continue to recount the amazingness that took place~

When we first got there we go to our seats (we got upper balcony…I didn’t buy them) They were okay, but as soon as people started filling in the seats in front of us our view was seriously obstructed. So as The Like was coming on, we hopped on down to seats that were second row center :D  But we had to move from those when the people showed up like five minutes before AM was supposed to come on, so we went over to some other seats that were first row right which had an AMAZING view (which is where I took the videos from) but about twenty minutes into AM playing the girl and her friend showed up and took her seats :C  so we ended up going back to our original seats, but if we stood up the view was better.  The battery in the camera had died by that point too, so it’s not like I could take anymore videos or pictures anyway :/

The concert ended about 11pm CST, but I had read on various forums and such that the band would come out and meet the fans afterward. Well, since the House of Blues staff kicked everyone out of the venue, my friends and I were just gonna leave. BUT as we were walking out I noticed that they were loading all the AM equipment into the tour bus and there was a group of people waiting around for them to come out :O

So my friends and I were waiting…and waiting…and waiting, so finally after an hour we left (even though I would have waited there all night if I had to :C )  but my friend was driving and he didn’t want to drive back too late at night v__v

Although I did not to meet my lovely <3 Alex Turner <3 I had an amazing night~
